CHICKEN AND CORN SOUP RECIPE
Soup is the perfect meal for winter. It's nutritious, low calorie (as long as you don't add cream or crusty bread smothered in butter) and will warm you up. Try this recipe for Chicken and Corn Soup from our Rancan Sisters Fitness Food Coach program. Add these ingredients - GARLIC, TUMERIC, GINGER and CORIANDER to your favourite soup recipes to beat colds and flus. Garlic, turmeric and ginger are potent detoxifying and antiviral herbs to help the body get rid of toxins, stimulate circulation, reduce inflammation, aid digestion and boost your immune system. Coriander also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help fight disease. Adding a little protein such as chicken will supply your body with essential amino acids your body needs to heal and nourish. The perfect ingredients to help you get through the winter cold.

CHICKEN AND CORN SOUP
This amount is an indvidual serve, increase ingredients per person. 
Ingredients
Corn - Kernels : 50 Grams
Egg : Scrambled 1 Medium
Bacon - Middle Rasher : ¼ Thin rasher
Onion - White : Cooked ¼ Small
Black Pepper : Ground 1 Pinch
Oil - Canola (Generic) ½ Teaspoon
Garlic : Cooked 1 Each (Clove)
Chicken stock (Generic) ½ Cup
Chicken - Breast, Skin Off 125 Grams
Water - Tap 2 Cup
Method
1. Add stock, drained corn, and finely sliced chicken fillets. Simmer gently for 10 minutes until chicken is cooked. Season with pepper.
2. Heat oil in saucepan. Add finely chopped onion, crushed garlic and finely chopped bacon. Cook for 5 minutes, until onion has softened and bacon is cooked.
3. Slowly pour beaten egg into the soup, stirring constantly. Serve.
