HOW TO LACE UP YOUR RUNNING SHOES FOR BEST SUPPORT

photo.jpg

On our 5KM A DAY CHALLENGE TEAM last week, we had 3 team members who had just purchased new running shoes for the Challenge.
The reccommendation is to have a couple of pairs and alternate them for longer wear.  Our shoes last approximately 6 months.
The tell tale signs of running shoe wear and tear is when you start to feel niggling injuries such as foot, knee or hip pain.
It's worth the investment which will save you the cost of physiotherapy bills in the long run.

We've found a you tube video on how to lace your running shoes. Try this tying technique for more ankle support.
We are astounded when we notice ill fitting, poorly supporting shoes to find out that the wearer has had the shoes for over two years. If you are a regular walker or runner, believe us, you need to change your shoes.  If they last that long you're not doing enough exercise.
