ADELE RANCAN
Meet Adele:
“Adele’s passion for leading-edge knowledge combines modern sports technology with hard-yards experience. Fast-paced and fun, her classes are outcomes-focused. She gets results in classes that are supportive, yet no-nonsense. If the result that you are looking for is great conditioning achieved in a high intensity, low injury-risk environment, Adele is your trainer.”
~ Jennifer Ahearne, Rancan Sisters Fitness Member
Adele’s philosophy is to motivate others to be courageous – step outside their comfort zone – and take a leap of faith into the unknown. She believes that fitness is the beginning of everything that most people want out of life: health, vitality, beauty, strength, confidence and self-respect.
Spiritual, mental and emotional wellness are essential parts of her programs, helping clients access and build their own inner power. Through this approach her clients achieve their fitness goals as well as excelling in other aspects of their lives - realising how powerful they are, and that the power has always resided within them. She strongly believes that the mind is as much the key as the body, and that both should be conditioned to achieve optimal results.
Adele specialises in working with goal-driven athletes as well as those who have a strong passion to improve their overall fitness. She especially shines in helping individuals prepare themselves with the mental and physical strength required for their athletic activity.
Sharing her passion, knowledge and expertise is what she most loves and her reward is seeing the positive changes she’s inspired in people’s lives. Adele loves helping you achieve not only your physical goals, but to also help you gain the confidence to speak up for yourself and revel in your new-found physical abilities and self-esteem.

LISA RANCAN
Meet Lisa:
“Lisa’s passion to promote the sports philosophy that core-strength is the answer and that the answer is core-strength, rings true. Energised, disciplined and highly communicative, Lisa has an almost intuitive perception of the strengths, weaknesses and ability of each participant. What Lisa teaches in the class is: you don’t have to be great to start – but you have to start to be great!”
~ Jennifer Ahearne, Rancan Sisters Fitness Member
She believes you can’t get away with a “that will do” approach, and that to achieve the best results you often need to do the things you don’t want to do. By inspiring you to be productive each and every time you come into the studio, she promises to not only improve your physical wellbeing, but also your mental focus and emotional self-belief.
Known for an athletic style of training, Lisa expects you to bring your passion, energy and an evil sense of fun to her sessions. She likes to combine old school techniques and music with newer movements to keep things interesting; but be assured her workouts are intense, demanding and exacting – making sure you isolate particular muscles to gain the most benefit.
She loves working across the whole spectrum of clients. From those just starting a fitness program that need to build stability and overall strength, to runners who need core strength to maintain the kilometres, as well as professional athletes and fulltime ballerinas, who take their Pilates Reformer work to the athletic level.
Having been referred [to Pilates] by a specialist for her own lumbar injuries 16 years ago, she now specialises in transitioning clients from physical therapy back to sport and out of pain. Lisa works on building a foundation of core strength tied to correct body mechanics; avoiding future injuries and promoting overall performance.
“I love encouraging clients who think they can’t do it, or have an injury – to prove to them they can do it – to the other extreme of pushing fit clients to the next level.”
